The Power of the King's Word

Psalms 29:1-9; Ecclesiastes 8:4

Psalm 29 describes the power of the voice of the Lord God. In verse 10 of the Psalm, our Lord is called, "King forever." As the King, His Word is powerful!

Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?

I want you to understand this morning that there is power in the Word of God. The Bible is not MAN'S book; it is GOD'S Book! As such, it has power like no other book in the world!

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

This morning I want to declare just a few ways that we can see the power of the King's Word.

I. The King's Word Is Powerful To Deliver

II. The King's Word Is Powerful To Direct

III. The King's Word Is Powerful To Destroy

The Word of the King is powerful to Deliver, Direct, and Destroy.

Do you know Christ as your Savior this morning? If not, I encourage you to come. Christian, does His Word have its proper place in our lives? Come now.
