Hebrew 'SIMPLE': Simple: silly, seducible, deceiveable, enticeable, or persuadable.
I. Actions of the Simple Man.
A. Believes every word
“The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.” (Prov 14:15)
B. Learns from the Punishment of the Scorner.
1. "Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge." (Proverbs 19:25)
2. "When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge." (Proverbs 21:11)
II. Characteristics of the Simple Man.
A. Without Understanding.
